HIV: Let's sort this together
The PaSH Partnership are inviting you to join in with Greater Manchester HIV Testing Week, which will take place between 25th and 30th November 2024.
Why support GM Testing Week?
Greater Manchester is part of the Fast Track Cities initiative. A global partnership committed to ‘ending all new transmissions of HIV within a generation’ by reducing transmissions, late HIV diagnoses, and eventually new diagnoses of HIV by 2030. The latest HIV surveillance data shows that the number of heterosexual men and women newly diagnosed in England with HIV has increased by more than 30% since 2022. With the steepest rise being in ethnic minority heterosexuals, rising by 45% compared to the previous year. GM HIV Testing Week ‘24 is a great opportunity to join our campaign, get tested for HIV and STIs and encourage others to get tested for free from the comfort of their own home.
Where can GM residents test?
There are so many ways for residents of Greater Manchester to get tested for HIV + STIs. PaSH will be visiting venues across Greater Manchester offering HIV and STI tests in the community. Find details where you can find PaSH in the community by checking out our calendar! PaSH also have many ways to test from the comfort of your own home. All PaSH tests are free and confidential, though eligibility criteria apply.
